Vermont Invasive Patrollers Training. Join Vermont DEC Lakes and Ponds Program Staff at one of 3 free workshops to train Vemont Invasive Patrollers to monitor lakes and ponds for invasive species, survey healthy native plant populations, and reduce the threat from invasive species indroducatios. All training sessions involve an introductory overview and a paddle on the water. Topics will include: aquatic plant species identification; aquatic invasive species threats to native species; surveying and monitoring techniques and an overview of invasive plant treatments and methods.
