The Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management (VEM) invites the public to a hearing to provide input on the DRAFT 2018 Vermont State Hazard Mitigation Plan (SHMP): http://vem.vermont.gov/plans/SHMP. VEM is seeking input from the public on the proposed natural hazards that may impact Vermont, the vulnerabilities to those hazards, the capabilities that exist in the State to address the hazards and the mitigation actions needed to reduce our vulnerability. The public hearing will be conducted at the Department of Public Safety State Emergency Operations Center, 45 State Drive, Waterbury, Vermont.
