Webinar for potential applicants - Tuesday, November 18, 2014 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Proposals due February 3, 2015.

Five Star and Urban Waters Grants, administered by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, fund projects such as: wetlands creation and restoration; green infrastructure and stormwater management; citizen’s science and volunteer water monitoring; projects that reduce or eliminate trash from entering waterways; coastal habitat, riparian, urban forest restoration and other water quality protection and restoration projects in local communities. Diverse partnerships are encouraged, and priority goes to underserved, environmentally overburdened communities. There are non-Vermont geographic and urban preferences for some of the funds, but funding contributed by EPA is available nationwide.

Thanks to Justin Kenney of VT DEC for forwarding the RFP notice.
