The Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Wastewater Management and the Federal Highway Administration’s Office of Project Development and Environmental Review are joining together for another webcast “Winter Roadway Deicing/Anti-icing Operations: Approaches to Help Keep Roads Clear and Waters Clean.”  Brief introduction on a recent U.S. Geological Survey report and examples of ways state transportation agencies and local governments are working creatively to reduce chloride impacts to waters.
