The 18th annual Connecticut River Source to Sea Cleanup will be September 26 and 27, 2014. Connecticut River Watershed Council organizes this coordinated effort all along the river. The organizers note that:
  • Many areas across the watershed still need cleaning
  • You can help as a participant, group leader, volunteer and/ or sponsor - all ages and abilities are welcome.
  • CRWC will provide gloves, bags and assistance as needed.
  • Emails will include important reminders, tips and best practices. You can expect a message about every two weeks and perhaps a bit more close to the Cleanup.
  • The last few years we have been increasing our heavy lifting capacity. We are also thinking about trash prevention. Let us know if you have ideas about prevention or special needs in your area for extra big trash or extra dirty sites.
